Trapezoidal airline rail with semi-circular and corner profile in a lashing rail
This 3-meter-long airline rail with a flat surface is a combination of semi-circular and corner profiles. This
airline rail is particularly suitable for securing items to the outside of the vehicle, e.g., canister holders, sand plates, or storage boxes. This is particularly useful for off-road vehicles or motorhomes.
This rail is also very well suited for use in the cargo area or rear garage, as cargo and furniture can be screwed or fastened flat there.
Features and installation of the airline rail with trapezoidal profile
The semicircular profile has no protruding edges, but does not offer the possibility of attaching anything flat.
The angular profile offers a flat surface for attaching objects.
That is why the combination of these two airline rails offers perfect synergy.

The thick base of the airline rail not only promotes maximum stability when sinking screws, but also offers the possibility of cutting threads into the rail base.
Furthermore, the strong rail base with a height of 6.2 mm also accommodates countersunk screws of size M8 and even M10. This is not possible with any other airline rail without also countersinking the substrate.
The load capacity is higher than with conventional semi-circular profiles due to the generous dimensions.
The airline rail is delivered undrilled and is therefore also suitable for gluing. There are two 11 mm wide adhesive
beads on the underside of the airline rail for gluing. The grooves can easily accommodate excess adhesive. We recommend Sikaflex 554. We
also have the matching
end cap for this airline rail in our range. This can be purchased as an option.
