Rigid rear step for Ford Custom without trailer hitch
The rigid rear step is suitable for the Ford Custom built between 2014 and 2023 without a trailer hitch.
The surface of the step is hot-dip galvanized and very slip-resistant due to its structure.
For vehicles with PDC, the two inner sensors must be deactivated or taped over.
Installation instructions and mounting hardware are included in the scope of delivery. An additional exhaust
tailpipe is also included for this vehicle.

Registration of steps
The installation of a step does not invalidate the operating license in accordance with § 19.2 StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations) and therefore does not require approval/registration in accordance with § 21 StVZO.
Furthermore, in accordance with EC Directive 97/27, steps at the rear of the vehicle may not be taken into account when measuring the length of the vehicle.
According to this EC directive, retractable side steps may also be disregarded when measuring the vehicle width. A parts certificate is supplied with our ST series rigid side steps (non-retractable
) as they alter the vehicle width.
We recommend carrying EC Directive 97/27 with you for all steps.
