Van floor made of screen-printed board – robust, precisely fitting, and durable
A transporter floor made of high-quality birch plywood is the ideal basis for professional vehicle conversion. It protects the original vehicle floor from wear, moisture, and mechanical stress. Thanks to modern CNC manufacturing, the floor panels are tailored to fit every vehicle model perfectly – from compact vans such as the Citroën Berlingo or VW Caddy to large panel vans such as the VW Crafter, Fiat Ducato, or Mercedes Sprinter.
Material and structure of the floor panels
The van floors consist of a phenolic resin-coated birch plywood panel with a thickness of 9 mm or 12 mm. The surface is coated with a durable screen-printed layer that is slip-resistant and easy to clean. Various versions are available – in gray, brown, granite look, or with a slip-resistant rubber coating for particularly demanding applications.
Thicknesses and areas of application
Depending on the area of application and vehicle type, two material thicknesses are available:
9 mm screen-printed plate – for light transport
The 9 mm thick floor panel is suitable for normal transport tasks, e.g., the transport of general cargo, cartons, or light pallets. It provides a solid protective layer for the cargo area and is easy to install.
12 mm screen-printed panel – for heavy loads
For heavy-duty applications, we recommend the 12 mm thick transporter floor. It is ideal for transporting heavy pallets, machines, or tool modules. It is also perfect as a base for installing vehicle equipment or airline rails for securing loads.
Installation and assembly
The floor panels are manufactured specifically for each vehicle and are usually delivered in one or more parts, depending on the size of the van. This multi-part design makes installation much easier and minimizes the risk of damage to the vehicle. The transitions between the panels are precisely milled and virtually invisible.
Aluminum strips and lashing systems
Depending on the vehicle model, aluminum strips are milled flush into the floor surface at the rear and sliding doors. These reliably protect the edges when loading and unloading heavy or sharp-edged cargo.
The existing lashing eyes are accommodated by recessed lashing troughs that are integrated into the surface without any protruding edges. They are attached by screwing the lashing eye into the trough. For vehicles without lashing eyes, the panel is manufactured as a closed unit and can be fixed in place by gluing, riveting, or screwing.
Transporter floor with airline rails
Many of our 12 mm screen-printed floors are available with integrated airline rails for professional transport use. These are milled and glued in place at the factory to ensure maximum stability.
As standard, the rails run parallel to the crossbars in the roof – ideal for vertical load securing in combination with locking bars. This allows windows, wooden panels, or other large-area goods to be securely fixed in place. On request, individual positioning of the airline rails is also possible, provided that the stability of the floor panel is guaranteed.
Vehicle equipment and fastening options
Anyone who wants to install vehicle equipment or shelving systems will benefit from the 12 mm floor panel. The greater material thickness significantly increases the tensile strength for threaded sleeves and fastenings. This allows modules to be securely screwed in place without compromising the stability of the floor.
Anti-slip transporter floor
A special variant is the anti-slip transporter floor. It has a slip-resistant surface coating made of rubber-plastic, which ensures a secure grip even when wet. This design is particularly popular with craft businesses, courier services, and construction site traffic.
Surfaces, colors, and options
Our transporter floors are available in various colors and surface textures – from classic brown to modern gray or granite-look. Depending on the area of application, you can choose between a smooth screen-printed surface or a textured anti-slip coating.
Customized production and special equipment
Special designs are available on request, for example with additional cutouts, integrated fastening points, or special coatings. This means that every floor panel is tailored precisely to your requirements – whether for a Citroën Berlingo, Renault Trafic, VW Crafter, Fiat Ducato, or Mercedes Sprinter.
Conclusion: Perfect cargo area protection with birch plywood van flooring
A transporter floor made of screen-printed board offers optimum protection for the vehicle floor and ensures a durable, clean working environment. It is robust, easy to clean and can be ideally combined with cargo area paneling and wheel arch paneling. Choose from a range of thicknesses, colors and surfaces to find the right solution for your vehicle – for maximum protection and a professional look in the cargo area.

❓ Frequently asked questions about van floors & floor panels
Here you will find answers about the material, thicknesses, installation, airline rails, vehicle equipment, and care of our birch plywood floor panels – suitable for Citroën Berlingo, VW Crafter, Fiat Ducato, and Mercedes Sprinter.
What material are the van floors made of and what variants are available?
Our van floors are made of phenolic resin-coated birch plywood – also known as screen printing board. They are robust, wear-resistant, and easy to maintain. Available in different colors (brown, gray, granite look) and surfaces (smooth or slip-resistant with rubber coating). Precision manufacturing using CNC milling machines guarantees maximum accuracy.
What thicknesses (9 mm or 12 mm) are available and what are they suitable for?
The 9 mm screen printing plate is suitable for light transport such as cartons or general cargo. The 12 mm base plate is ideal for high loads, such as heavy pallets, workshop equipment, or integrated airline rails. The thicker version also offers higher tensile strength for threaded sleeves and module fastenings.
How are the floor panels installed and delivered?
The floor panels are manufactured specifically for each vehicle and are delivered in one or more parts, depending on the model. Multi-part panels facilitate installation and prevent damage during assembly. Lashing recesses are precisely milled and accommodate the original lashing eyes – without any annoying edges. Vehicles without lashing eyes are glued, riveted, or screwed. Aluminum edge protection strips are often integrated flush with the sliding and rear doors.
Can I have airline rails or vehicle equipment integrated?
Yes. 12 mm floor panels can be equipped with milled and glued airline rails – parallel to the roof rails as standard, ideal for vertical load securing with locking bars. Individual positions are possible on request. The sturdy design is also ideal for installing vehicle equipment, shelving systems, and brackets.
How do I care for the floor panels and what can they be combined with?
The screen-printed surface is easy to care for – simply clean with a mild detergent or a steam cleaner (at a distance). The floors can be optimally combined with ABS cargo area linings and wheel arch linings. This creates a continuous, durable cargo area protection with a professional look and high noise insulation.
