Properties of the plastic floor panel
The high-quality Foamlite load floors are made of 100% recyclable polypropylene (PP) and have a slip-resistant surface of class R10 according to DIN 51130. This significantly improves safety during loading and unloading. Depending on the intended use, you can choose between three variants:
- 9 mm Foamlite solid material – lightweight and stable for everyday use
- 12 mm Foamlite solid material – ideal for high point loads and vehicle equipment
- 10 mm hollow chamber panel – ultra-lightweight and particularly economical
The plastic surface is abrasion-resistant, does not splinter like conventional wooden floors, and remains dimensionally stable even under heavy use. Unlike screen-printed floors, it does not swell and is therefore particularly durable and easy to maintain.
Lightweight, robust, and easy to maintain
The low weight per unit area makes plastic flooring an excellent alternative to wooden floors. The 9 mm Foamlite floor panel weighs only 5.85 kg/m², the 12 mm version weighs 7.80 kg/m², and the 10 mm hollow chamber panel weighs only 4.2 kg/m². This makes them up to 40% lighter than comparable plywood floors – a decisive advantage in terms of payload and consumption.
Thanks to their closed, non-porous surface, PP transporter floors can be easily cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. Oil, water, or dirt cannot penetrate them – ideal for tradespeople, logistics companies, or service vehicles that depend on cleanliness and durability.
Van flooring for many vehicle models
Our plastic floors are available for a wide range of vans and commercial vehicles – from compact city delivery vans to long-wheelbase panel vans. Depending on the vehicle type, the floor panels are supplied in one or more parts. This makes installation easier and significantly reduces the risk of damage during installation.
Easy to install, robust in everyday use, and durable in any environment—plastic van flooring is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to protect their cargo space optimally.

❓ Frequently asked questions about plastic van floors
Our plastic loading floors are the lightweight and durable alternative to classic screen-printed or plywood floors. Here we answer the most important questions about materials, load capacity, cleaning, and installation.
What is the advantage of a plastic van floor over wood?
Plastic floors made of PP/Foamlite are significantly lighter (up to 40% lighter than wood), absorb virtually no moisture, and do not swell. In addition, the surface does not splinter and remains visually appealing for longer. This makes them ideal for vehicles that are cleaned frequently or used in damp environments.
Are the floors slip-resistant?
Yes. Our plastic transporter floors have an R10 slip-resistant surface in accordance with DIN 51130. This increases safety during loading and unloading and is particularly interesting for tradespeople, courier services, and service vehicles.
Which thickness should I choose – 9, 10, or 12 mm?
9 mm and 10 mm are ideal for normal piece goods and pallet transport and if you value low weight. We recommend 12 mm for high point loads or if vehicle equipment/shelving systems are to be screwed onto it. This ensures that the floor remains stable in the long term.
How are the floor panels delivered and installed?
Depending on the size of the vehicle, we deliver the panels in one or more parts. Multi-part floors are easier to install in the van and reduce the risk of installation scratches. Installation is vehicle-specific using original mounting points or screws in the floor – without any time-consuming cutting on site.
Can I easily clean the plastic floor?
Yes, that's one of the big advantages: the surface is sealed and water-resistant. You can clean it with a high-pressure cleaner or mild detergent. Unlike wood, the floor does not absorb water and dries quickly.
For which vans are the plastic floors available?
Our floors are available for many common vehicles, e.g., VW T5/T6/T6.1, VW Transporter, Mercedes Vito and Sprinter, Renault Master, Opel Vivaro, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper, and other sizes. The panels are milled specifically for each vehicle and therefore fit without much adjustment.
