The Light version has grooves on both sides of the underside, which absorb excess adhesive during bonding. This creates a particularly clean, flat connection – ideal for GRP sandwich panels or coated wood structures in campers and motorhomes. As the rail is delivered undrilled, fixing points can be placed exactly where they fit the respective vehicle structure. Alternatively, it can be mounted over the entire surface using high-quality adhesives such as Sikaflex 554.

Thanks to the durable aluminum EN AW 6082 T6, the Light rail combines low weight with high strength. It is compatible with all common airline fittings, lashing straps, locking bars, and end fittings and is suitable for the safe transport of tools, outdoor equipment, camping modules, or light machinery.

Installation of the Light Airline rail

The rail can be attached either by screwing or by bonding over the entire surface. For screw mounting, M5 countersunk screws (strength at least 10.9) are recommended. Screws should be placed at a maximum distance of 75 mm apart. When bonding, the groove on both sides ensures that excess adhesive is neatly absorbed and improves the adhesive surface.

Important: Protruding screw or rivet heads must not be used as they would interfere with the insertion of the airline fittings.
