Aluminum checker plate transporter floor for Fiat Ducato – L2 from 2006
This transporter floor for the Fiat Ducato L2 is CNC-milled and adapted to the contours of the cargo area of the specific vehicle. The carrier plate is made of birch plywood, onto which 1.5–2.0 mm thick aluminum checker plate is applied. The result is a slip-resistant, durable loading area that protects the original floor from damage and moisture.
Designed for the medium wheelbase L2 with flat roof (H1) or high roof (H2) and the following vehicle dimensions:

The floor panel is supplied in several parts, which simplifies installation in the cargo area and allows precise adjustment to the vehicle geometry.
Floor panel designs with aluminum checker plate
The transporter floor is available in 9 mm or 12 mm thickness. The screen-printed floor is phenolic resin-bonded in accordance with EN 312-2 / Class 3 and is therefore designed to withstand the effects of moisture in vehicle operation.
An aluminum checker plate is applied to the screen-printed floor in a quintet arrangement. This structure increases slip resistance and ensures a resilient surface for intensive use.
Fastening the floor panel in the vehicle
The floor is laid from front to rear. The plate segments are screwed together to create a stable and closed loading area after installation. The screw connections are barely visible after installation and do not interfere with daily operation.
The supplied lashing recesses are inserted into the designated recesses and secured with the original lashing eyes of the Fiat Ducato. For wide vehicle variants, a light adhesive can be applied between the body and the floor panel to reduce vibrations.
Airline rails for professional load securing
Optionally, airline rails can be integrated under the roof rails across the direction of travel. The floor panel is milled to fit precisely and the rails are glued in place.
The airline rails are each 1.20 meters long and are particularly suitable for securing loads with locking bars. Please note that airline rails can only be embedded in 9 mm thick floor panels. Other lengths or positions are available on request.
