A van does not have to be new to keep doing its job every day. A Citroën Jumper from 2006 may already have many working years behind it and still be used regularly for trades, service work or transport. Areas that are used frequently, such as the rear bumper, can naturally begin to show those years of use.
The vehicle-specific aluminium rear bumper protector for the Citroën Jumper is therefore not only suitable for protecting a bumper that is still in good condition. It can also be retrofitted when scratches or other signs of use are already present and need to be concealed within the area covered by the protector.
Six different surface finishes are available. All versions are made from 1.5 mm aluminium, feature a folded edge and are attached using the special adhesive tape applied to the rear.
Which bumper protector fits the Citroën Jumper?
In short: This aluminium rear bumper protector is designed for the Citroën Jumper from 2006. All six versions are made from 1.5 mm aluminium and feature a folded edge. Installation is carried out using special adhesive tape on the rear of the protector, so no drilling or screws are required.
When a working van begins to show its years of service
Signs of use from everyday work rarely appear all at once. A brief contact while unloading, a toolbox being repositioned or a transport container passing close to the rear of the vehicle – over a longer period, many small situations like these can add up.
On a Citroën Jumper that has already been in service for several years, the rear bumper may therefore show scratches or other visible marks even though the van continues to perform its daily job.
This is where retrofitting a bumper protector can be useful. The aluminium cover protects the relevant bumper area and can conceal existing signs of use, provided they are located within the area covered by the protector.
Retrofit protection for an existing rear bumper
A bumper protector does not necessarily have to be installed when the vehicle is new. It can also be a practical addition to a Jumper that has already spent years in commercial use.
When a rear bumper protector can be useful
| Current condition |
How the bumper protector helps |
| Bumper still in good condition |
The covered area gains an additional aluminium layer for future loading and unloading. |
| First signs of use already visible |
Marks within the covered area can be concealed underneath the bumper protector. |
| Van already in service for several years |
The bumper protector can be retrofitted as a practical addition later in the vehicle's working life. |
| Vehicle remains in regular use |
The aluminium cover provides additional protection for the covered bumper area during future loading operations. |
An older Jumper can still be a hard-working van
The age of a vehicle does not necessarily tell you how intensively it is still being used. An older Jumper may continue to carry tools to job sites, transport materials or work as a service vehicle every day.
That means the rear loading area remains part of the daily working routine. Existing signs of use are therefore no reason to rule out a bumper protector. Retrofitting combines the ability to conceal marks that are already visible with additional protection for the covered area during continued use.

From chequer plate to a brushed finish
As the base material and thickness are the same for all six versions, the choice can primarily be based on the appearance you prefer.
The classic aluminium chequer plate provides a typical technical appearance. Silver anodised and black anodised chequer plate versions are also available.
For a more understated look, you can choose brushed aluminium with a stainless-steel appearance. This version is also made entirely from aluminium. The term “stainless-steel look” refers only to the appearance of the surface.
The range is completed by matt silver anodised and black anodised aluminium versions with machined grooves.
Folded edge for additional protection
The aluminium bumper protector is supplied with a folded edge for additional protection around the loading edge.
This gives the frequently used rear loading area an additional cover, whether the protector is installed early in the vehicle's working life or retrofitted after several years of use.
Retrofit installation without drilling or screws
A high-quality self-adhesive special tape is applied to the rear of the bumper protector. This is used to attach the aluminium cover to the intended area of the rear bumper.
No drilling or screws are required.
Important before installation:
Please read the installation instructions under “Technical Details” completely before fitting the protector and follow the specified requirements.

Practical tip: Check existing marks before choosing the protector
If you are retrofitting a bumper protector, take a close look at the existing signs of use on the bumper first. The important point is not simply how many scratches are present, but where they are located.
Only scratches or damage located within the area covered by the bumper protector can be concealed underneath the aluminium surface. Marks outside this area will remain visible.
This quick check is particularly useful on a Citroën Jumper that has already spent several years in commercial use.
