The roof fan with push-and-pull effect offers a particularly powerful and efficient form of cargo area ventilation. Thanks to its unique technology, it simultaneously provides fresh air supply and exhaust air removal – without the need for additional floor fans. The certified Easy Aero roof fan thus ensures continuous air movement in the transporter, reliably reducing heat, humidity, odors, and possible gases.
Roof fan with push-and-pull effect for vans
The push-and-pull technology creates a double flow direction: fresh air actively enters the cargo area through the front opening, while stale or polluted air can escape through the rear opening. This effect eliminates the need for additional floor vents. The roof fan is wind-driven, low-maintenance, and, thanks to its ABS construction, particularly durable, impact-resistant, and weather-resistant.

Vehicle ventilation requirement according to GGVS
When transporting gases and hazardous goods, the Federal Ministry of Transport stipulates that vehicles must be adequately ventilated. According to GGVS and information sheet DSV 0211, transporters must have free ventilation openings that allow gases and heat to be safely dissipated. High-quality roof ventilation such as the push-and-pull fan meets these requirements particularly effectively, as it both supplies fresh air and removes exhaust air.
Electric Easy Aero roof fan – expansion option
For stationary vehicles, the roof fan can be optionally equipped with an additional electric fan. This is simply screwed onto the Easy Aero from below and generates permanent air movement in the interior. This is particularly useful for vehicles that transport a lot of gases or when animals, food, or sensitive goods have to remain in the vehicle.
- Efficient ventilation even when stationary
- Ideal for animal transport, food transport, or campers
- Recommended for high gas loads or long breaks
- Quick retrofitting without modifications

Why the push-and-pull effect is so effective
Unlike pure exhaust fans, the Easy Aero combines two air flows. The air pressure during driving pushes fresh air inwards, while negative pressure at the rear draws stale air outwards. This technology creates a very even exchange, which is particularly effective for heat, moisture, or gases.
- Uniform air flow without additional fans
- Ideal for closed cargo areas
- Prevents heat build-up in the roof area
- Reduces humidity and the risk of mold
- Significantly improves air quality
FAQs about the push-and-pull roof fan
Do I also need a floor fan?
No. The push-and-pull technology simultaneously pushes fresh air in and extracts exhaust air – a floor fan is not necessary.
Is the roof fan suitable for transporting hazardous goods?
Yes. It meets the requirements of the GGVS (German Dangerous Goods Transport Regulations) and enables the prescribed ventilation in accordance with DSV-0211.
Can the fan be mounted under a roof rack?
Yes. Its compact design allows it to be mounted under many roof rack systems.
How is the additional electric fan installed?
It is screwed onto the existing Easy Aero from the inside and provides active ventilation when stationary.
Is the Easy Aero water-resistant?
Yes. The roof fan is waterproof, car wash-proof, and can withstand severe weather conditions.
