Protect the wheel arches in the load area of your Ford Transit Custom II from 2024 with these vehicle-specific 3 mm ABS wheel arch covers. The moulded covers provide an additional protective layer over two of the most exposed areas inside a working van.
The set includes two wheel arch covers – one for the left and one for the right side. They can be installed as individual wheel arch protection or combined with an existing load area lining for a clean and practical interior solution.
Do these wheel arch covers fit the Ford Transit Custom from 2024?
Quick answer: Yes. These wheel arch covers are designed for the second-generation Ford Transit Custom from model year 2024. The set contains two vehicle-specific ABS covers for the left and right wheel arches and can be used on its own or as an addition to an existing load area lining.
Please note:
The set includes left and right wheel arch covers. Fixings and installation materials are not included.
3 mm ABS protection for the wheel arches
The covers are made from 3 mm thick ABS plastic. The material combines flexibility with the durability required for everyday use in the load area of a commercial vehicle.
The ABS cover creates an additional protective layer between the original wheel arch and the cargo area. This is particularly useful when toolboxes, parcels, containers, equipment or other items regularly come into contact with the wheel arches during loading and unloading.
The plastic is also UV-resistant, making it suitable for long-term use inside a working van.
Why protect the wheel arches in a Transit Custom?
The wheel arches project into the load area and are therefore among the parts of a van that can easily come into contact with cargo and equipment during everyday use.
Typical sources of wear include:
- toolboxes and material cases
- parcels and transport containers
- machines and work equipment
- loose or shifting cargo
- frequent loading and unloading
The wheel arch covers do not replace a cargo securing system. Their purpose is to provide additional protection for the vehicle surfaces around the wheel arches.
A practical addition to your load area lining
These wheel arch covers are particularly useful in combination with an existing or planned load area lining.
Floor panels and side wall linings protect the large surfaces inside the van, but the projecting wheel arches can remain exposed. The two moulded ABS covers provide targeted protection for these areas and help create a more complete load area interior.
The wheel arch covers can also be installed independently if a complete load area lining is not required.
Clamp, screw or bond the wheel arch covers in place
Depending on the existing van conversion and the preferred installation method, the ABS wheel arch covers can be clamped, screwed or bonded into position.
The most suitable method depends on the individual load area configuration. If a floor or side wall lining is already installed, the covers can often be integrated into the existing interior setup.
Installation note:
Fixings and installation materials are not included. Please select suitable fasteners or adhesive products according to the chosen installation method and the existing vehicle interior.
