Front bar for Mercedes Citan from model year 2021
The front bar for the Mercedes Citan W420 from model year 2021 has a tube diameter of 63 mm. The bar
is made of stainless steel, the weld seams are hand-ground and the surface is highly polished.
The front bar is also available in black.
Approval for the Mercedes Citan front bar
The personal protection bar has been tested in accordance with EU Directive 2005/66/EC, which has been in force since 2009, and is therefore delivered with EC/EC approval. This EC/EC approval
means that it does not need to be entered in the vehicle documents, saving you the extra cost of a TÜV entry.
You only need to carry the EC approval with your vehicle documents.
Please compare the EC type approval number in your vehicle registration document under point K with the EC type approval number in the EC approval. These must match exactly.
Note for vehicles with parking sensors
If parking sensors are present, the two inner sensors must be taped over! The outer sensors remain active. This front bar is NOT
suitable for vehicles with front cameras or radar systems! The front
bar is supplied with mounting materials, EC approval, and installation instructions.
