Whether used as a Nissan NV300 or under the later Nissan Primastar model name, everyday loading and unloading takes place around the same critical area at the rear of the van. Toolboxes, parcels, equipment and transport containers are lifted from the cargo area, pulled towards the rear or repositioned during loading – with the rear bumper directly below this busy working area.
The vehicle-specific aluminium rear bumper protector for the Nissan NV300 and Nissan Primastar provides an additional cover for this frequently used section of the bumper. It can be fitted as preventative protection while the bumper is still in good condition, or retrofitted later when scratches and other signs of use are already present and can be concealed within the area covered by the protector.
Six different surface finishes are available. All versions are made from 1.5 mm aluminium, feature a folded edge and are attached using the special adhesive tape applied to the rear.
Does the bumper protector fit the Nissan NV300 and Nissan Primastar?
In short: This aluminium rear bumper protector is designed for the Nissan NV300 from 2014 and the Nissan Primastar from 2022. All six available surface finishes are made from 1.5 mm aluminium and feature a folded edge. Installation is carried out using special adhesive tape on the rear of the protector, so no drilling or screws are required.
NV300 or Primastar – check the model and year
Within this Nissan van range, customers may come across two different model names. When selecting the bumper protector, it is therefore important to check the exact model and year rather than simply searching for a general Nissan van accessory.
Vehicle compatibility for this bumper protector
| Vehicle |
Model year |
| Nissan NV300 |
From 2014 |
| Nissan Primastar |
From 2022 |
The same bumper protector can therefore be used across these Nissan models. This provides a suitable option both for an older NV300 and for a Nissan Primastar from 2022.
Two model names – the same busy loading area
The name on the van may differ, but the practical demands of everyday transport work remain much the same. Throughout the working day, tools, materials, boxes and other cargo are repeatedly moved between the load area and the outside of the vehicle. The final part of that journey takes place directly above the rear bumper.
A toolbox may be lowered briefly while being removed, a container repositioned before lifting or a longer item carefully pulled from the cargo area. These are ordinary loading movements, but repeated use can gradually leave visible marks around the rear bumper.
The aluminium bumper protector provides an additional cover for this frequently used area.
Retrofit an NV300 or protect a Primastar early
The different model years mean that owners may be starting from very different situations. A Nissan NV300 may already have completed many years of commercial work, while a Nissan Primastar from 2022 may still have a relatively well-preserved rear bumper.
Using the bumper protector in different situations
| Vehicle condition |
How the protector can be used |
| NV300 with existing signs of use |
Marks within the covered area can be concealed underneath the bumper protector. |
| NV300 with a well-preserved bumper |
The aluminium protector can also be added later as preventative protection. |
| Primastar with a well-preserved bumper |
The frequently used bumper area can be covered at an early stage. |
| Primastar already in daily use |
Existing marks can be concealed if they are located within the area covered by the protector. |
The age of the van alone does not determine when a bumper protector can be useful. The condition of the bumper and the way the vehicle is used in everyday work are equally important.

Which surface finish suits your NV300 or Primastar?
As the base material and material thickness are identical across all six versions, the choice can primarily be based on the appearance you prefer for your van.
The classic aluminium chequer plate provides a distinctive technical appearance. Silver anodised and black anodised chequer plate versions are also available.
For a more understated finish, there is brushed aluminium with a stainless-steel look. This version is also made entirely from aluminium – “stainless-steel look” refers only to the appearance of the surface.
Matt silver anodised and black anodised aluminium versions with machined grooves complete the range.
Folded edge for additional protection
The aluminium bumper protector for the Nissan NV300 and Primastar features a folded edge for additional protection around the loading edge.
This complements the aluminium cover in an area of the vehicle that is regularly used during loading and unloading.
Self-adhesive installation without drilling
A high-quality self-adhesive special tape is applied to the rear of the bumper protector. This is used to attach the aluminium cover to the intended area of the rear bumper.
No drilling or screws are required.
Important before installation:
Please read the installation instructions under “Technical Details” completely before fitting the protector and follow the specified requirements.

Practical tip: Check the Nissan model and year first
Because this bumper protector is offered for two Nissan model names, it is worth checking the model and year before ordering.
For this product, the relevant fitment is Nissan NV300 from 2014 and Nissan Primastar from 2022. Once the vehicle has been identified, you can select your preferred aluminium surface finish.
If the bumper already shows signs of use, it is also worth checking where the existing scratches are located. Only marks within the area covered by the protector can be concealed underneath it.

One bumper protector for the NV300 and Primastar
