Rear step for VW Transporter with trailer hitch
The rigid TwoStep rear step for the VW T5 from 2003 onwards, VW T6 from 2015 onwards, and VW T6.1 from 2019 onwards, is a three-piece unit with a step width of 1,462 mm.
The rear steps have a step depth of 181 mm without the center section and 189 mm with the center section.
The step is suitable for vehicles with a
2- or 4-bolt trailer hitch already installed.
The rigid TowStep rear step comes with a removable center section that allows a trailer to be attached effortlessly and in no time at all. Without the center section, the step has a rotation range of 110 degrees. The step can be easily attached to
any trailer hitch with a flange using the bolts supplied.
On vehicles with factory-fitted parking sensors, these are extended and integrated into the step. A vehicle-specific mounting
kit is included in the scope of delivery.
