The surface of the step is hot-dip galvanized and has a very slip-resistant structure.
The rigid safety step can only be installed
without a trailer coupling!
On vehicles equipped with PDC, the two inner sensors must be covered with tape.

Registration of steps
The installation of a step does not invalidate the operating license in accordance with § 19.2 StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations) and therefore does not require approval/registration in accordance with § 21 StVZO.
In addition, in accordance with EC Directive 97/27, steps at the rear of the vehicle may not be taken into account when measuring the vehicle length.
According to this EC directive, retractable side steps may also be disregarded when measuring the vehicle width. A parts certificate is supplied with our ST series rigid side steps (non-retractable
) as they alter the vehicle width.
We recommend carrying the EC Directive 97/27 with you for all steps.
