Load capacities of the square airline rail – standard
If a double stud fitting or double end fitting is used, increased tensile strength can be assumed.

Fastening the airline rail
The airline rail as a standard profile is usually fastened with M6 countersunk screws.
If the airline rail is to be screwed in place, we strongly recommend that you follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines.
These state that
the countersunk screws should be placed at intervals of 75 mm!
Screws with a strength of at least 10.9 must be used, with washers and self-locking nuts! Since the use of nuts and washers is often not possible in vehicle construction, rivet nuts or threaded anchor nuts are used as an alternative.
We only recommend riveting or fastening with other head screws to a limited extent, as the protruding rivet head or screw head makes it impossible to insert the end fittings or push through the slotted nuts.
Another fastening option is gluing.
This airline rail is not pre-drilled and can therefore be glued, e.g., with Sikaflex 554, or drilled at the desired points. The installer of the load securing
aids is responsible for the installation and the resulting possible load!
