The precisely CNC-machined floor panel for VW T5, VW T6, and VW T6.1 is tailored to the cargo area contours of vehicles with a long wheelbase. It is suitable for models with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and is intended exclusively for use in panel vans. Precise manufacturing results in a stable, level loading area without compromising fit or load capacity.

The multi-layer construction made of high-quality birch plywood and a 1.5–2.0 mm thick aluminum checker plate surface ensures high load-bearing capacity and a permanently slip-resistant surface. This makes the transporter floor ideal for the safe transport of tools, machines, material boxes, or bulky loads.

Material structure of the aluminum checker plate floor panel

The transporter floor is available in either 9 mm or 12 mm thickness. The substrate is a phenolic resin-bonded screen-printed floor made of birch plywood in accordance with EN 312-2 / Class 3, which was specially developed for use in commercial vehicles.

The aluminum checker plate surface in quintet design significantly increases slip resistance and reliably protects the floor from mechanical wear. At the same time, aluminum is resistant to moisture, oil, and many chemicals, making it ideal for professional continuous use.

Installation and secure fastening

The floor panel is laid out to fit perfectly in the cargo area and is supplied in one or more parts, depending on the vehicle model. The individual segments are screwed together and, after installation, form a stable, closed loading area. The screw connections are discreet and do not interfere with the use of the cargo area.

The lashing recesses included in the scope of delivery are inserted into the designated recesses and fixed with the original lashing eyes of the VW T5, VW T6, or VW T6.1. This secures the floor and integrates it completely into the original load securing system.

Optional: Airline rails for flexible load securing

Optionally, the aluminum checker plate floor panel can be equipped with airline rails. The floor panel is milled to fit precisely and the rails are permanently glued in place. This enables flexible and professional load securing with locking bars or lashing straps.

Please note that airline rails can usually only be integrated into 9 mm thick floor panels. Different positions or lengths are possible depending on the vehicle model.
