The off-road recovery strap for towing heavy vehicles, with a length of 3 meters, is designed for demanding recovery and towing work. Thanks to its high breaking load, wide contact surface, and reinforced end loops, the recovery strap is ideal for off-road use and for heavy vehicles.
Product description – Off-road recovery strap 3 m
The towing and recovery strap is designed for use with off-road vehicles, SUVs, jeeps, trucks, and construction machinery. The tapered and reinforced end loops on both sides ensure safe power transmission and enable reliable attachment to shackle points or recovery eyes.
The 90 mm wide webbing construction distributes the tensile force evenly, reducing point loads and minimizing material damage.
Material and load capacity
The recovery strap is made of 100 percent polyester (PES) and is characterized by high tear resistance and weather resistance. With a breaking load of 21,000 kg and a safety factor of 7:1, the strap is suitable for heavy-duty recovery operations.
The permissible working load is 3,000 kg. The recovery strap is designed for controlled pulling and is not intended for sudden loads.
Areas of application for the recovery strap
The off-road recovery strap is used wherever vehicles need to be moved or recovered safely.
- Off-road and all-terrain vehicles
- SUVs and jeeps
- Trucks and commercial vehicles
- Construction machinery and work vehicles

Safety instructions and replacement
Rescue straps do not have a fixed expiration date. Continued use depends on the condition of the strap. A visual inspection must be carried out before each use.
The rescue strap must no longer be used if:
- Yarn breaks or cuts in the webbing
- Unraveling or damage to the end loops
- Severe deformation due to exposure to heat
- Damage caused by chemicals or aggressive substances
- Visible material tears or fraying
Difference to tow ropes
Compared to tow ropes, recovery straps offer significantly higher load capacity, better force distribution, and controlled force transfer. Recovery straps are therefore the safer choice for heavy vehicles and off-road use.
Frequently asked questions about off-road recovery straps
For which vehicles is the recovery strap suitable?
The recovery strap is suitable for off-road vehicles, SUVs, jeeps, trucks, and construction machinery.
What is the difference between breaking load and working load?
The breaking load describes the maximum load until the material fails. The working load is the permissible continuous load during use.
Can the recovery strap be used for jerky recovery?
No, the recovery strap is designed for controlled tensile loads and is not intended for jerky loads.
When should the recovery strap be replaced?
The recovery strap must no longer be used if the webbing, end loops, or material are visibly damaged.
