The Citroën Jumper from 2006 onwards has been a familiar large van in the trade, delivery and service sectors for many years. In vehicles that work hard every day, the wheel arches projecting into the cargo area are particularly exposed and can regularly come into contact with toolboxes, materials, containers and other cargo during loading and unloading.
This set of two vehicle-specific wheel arch covers made from 3 mm ABS plastic provides additional protection for both the left and right wheel arches. The plastic covers can be installed in an otherwise unlined van or added to an existing interior lining or cargo area conversion.
Do these wheel arch covers fit the Citroën Jumper from 2006?
In short: This set is designed for the Citroën Jumper from 2006 onwards. It includes two wheel arch covers for the left and right sides of the vehicle. The covers are made from 3 mm flexible, UV-resistant ABS plastic and can be clamped, screwed or bonded in place depending on the installation situation.
Wheel arch protection for a van built to work
The Jumper offers plenty of usable cargo space. Even so, the two wheel arches naturally project into the load area, making them potential contact points during everyday use.
Heavy equipment is not the only concern. Boxes, cartons, tools and other working materials may repeatedly pass alongside the wheel arches when they are moved, stacked or removed from the vehicle.
This is exactly where the ABS covers come into their own. They are fitted over the existing wheel arches to create an additional protective layer between the vehicle and the cargo.
When is additional wheel arch protection particularly useful?
How heavily a cargo area is used depends less on the age of the van than on what it does every day. A Citroën Jumper in regular commercial use can go through countless loading and unloading cycles over the years.
Additional wheel arch protection is therefore particularly useful for:
-
Trade and construction vans carrying tools, machinery and building materials
-
Courier and delivery vehicles with frequently changing consignments
-
Service vans carrying boxes, equipment and working materials
-
Transport vehicles regularly carrying individual items or general cargo
-
Retrofitted Jumper vans where the wheel arches have previously remained unprotected
3 mm ABS plastic as an additional protective layer
The wheel arch covers are made from 3 mm ABS plastic. The material is flexible and suitable for use as a shaped cover over the original wheel arch. The plastic is also UV-resistant.
The ABS cover does not replace the vehicle's actual wheel arch. Instead, it sits over the existing structure as an additional lining and helps protect the underlying area from direct contact with cargo.
For a commercially used Jumper, this is a straightforward way to protect two particularly exposed areas of the cargo compartment without necessarily having to re-line the entire interior.

Retrofit the wheel arches instead of rebuilding the entire cargo area
One advantage of these wheel arch covers is that they do not have to be installed as part of a completely new Jumper conversion.
If the vehicle already has a cargo floor or interior lining, the wheel arch covers can be retrofitted as an additional protective element, provided that the existing installation allows them to be fitted correctly.
This can be particularly useful for older working vans. A cargo area conversion that is still in good condition does not need to be completely replaced simply because the wheel arches require additional protection.
Wheel arch protection on its own or as part of a cargo area conversion?
The best solution depends on which areas of your Jumper actually need protection.

Installation: clamping, screwing or bonding
Depending on the existing interior conversion, several installation methods are possible. The wheel arch covers can be clamped, screwed or bonded in place.
The most suitable option depends on the individual installation situation. In a Jumper that has already been converted, for example, it is worth checking how the existing floor and wall lining meets the wheel arch before deciding on the fixing method.
Please note before installation:
The required installation hardware is not included. Fixings or adhesive must be selected according to the chosen installation method and the individual installation situation.
Practical tip for Jumper vans that have already seen years of service
If your van has already been working for several years, it is worth taking a closer look at the existing wheel arch area before fitting the new covers. Dirt, loose parts or existing fittings should not simply disappear underneath the new lining.
Check the contact and adjoining areas before installation and clean them where necessary. This also gives you the opportunity to determine which of the available fixing methods works best with the existing interior.
That way, the retrofit becomes more than simply “putting some plastic over it” – the wheel arch covers become a properly integrated addition to the existing cargo area.

Targeted wheel arch protection for a hard-working Citroën Jumper
A Citroën Jumper can spend many years as a reliable working van. During that time, tools, parcels, materials and other cargo may pass through its load area countless times.
With these vehicle-specific wheel arch covers for the Citroën Jumper from 2006 onwards, two particularly exposed areas can be protected without completely rebuilding the cargo compartment. The set covers both wheel arches with 3 mm ABS shells and can also be combined with an existing interior conversion.
This makes the solution suitable not only for newer vehicles or complete cargo area conversions, but also for Jumper vans that have already put in years of hard work – and whose wheel arches deserve to take a little less of the punishment in future.
