With the Fiat Scudo III from 2022 onwards, the familiar Scudo name has returned to the medium-size van segment. In commercial use as a service van, trade vehicle or delivery van, the cargo area is often used intensively – and the two projecting wheel arches can quickly come into contact with tools, boxes or other transported goods.
This set includes two wheel arch covers made from 3 mm HDPE/ABS plastic for the left and right wheel arches. The vehicle assignment includes L1, L2 and L3/XL versions as well as the listed vehicles with either a tailgate or rear barn doors.

Wheel arch protection for a modern Fiat work van
The Scudo III is often used where a large panel van is not required but significantly more cargo space is needed than in a compact van.
Typical applications include:
-
Trade and installation work
-
Service and maintenance
-
Courier and delivery operations
-
Mobile workshop solutions
-
Vehicles with shelving or custom interior conversions
In these applications, cargo regularly passes the wheel arches or is positioned directly beside them. The plastic covers provide an additional protective layer in these exposed areas.
New Scudo generation – plan cargo area protection from the start
With a newly acquired Fiat Scudo III, it can be worthwhile to plan the cargo area protection early. Cargo floor, side wall lining, wheel arch protection and later shelving systems can then be coordinated more effectively.
The wheel arch covers protect the two areas that project particularly far into the usable cargo space between the floor and side walls.
If the vehicle has already been converted, retrofitting is also possible as long as the wheel arches remain sufficiently accessible.
3 mm HDPE/ABS plastic – flexible and UV-resistant
According to the product specification, the wheel arch covers are made from 3 mm HDPE/ABS plastic. The material is flexible and UV-resistant.
The scope of delivery includes two shaped plastic covers – one for the left and one for the right wheel arch.
The wheel arch protection provides additional covering for these vehicle areas. It does not replace proper load securing.

Add wheel arch protection to an existing Scudo conversion
Even if a Fiat Scudo III is already in service, the complete cargo area does not necessarily need to be rebuilt just to add extra protection around the wheel arches.
The plastic covers can be fitted as an addition to existing interior lining. If shelving, tool cabinets or other fixed equipment is already installed, check beforehand that there is enough working space around the wheel arches.
Installation by clamping, screwing or bonding
Depending on the installation situation, the wheel arch covers can be fitted by clamping, screwing or bonding.
The most suitable method depends on the existing interior equipment and the planned cargo area conversion.
Installation note:
The required installation hardware is not included. Fixings or adhesive must be selected to suit the chosen installation method and the individual vehicle setup.
Practical tip: do not wait for the first signs of wear
A new Scudo is often put into service first and then gradually fitted out over time. When it comes to cargo area protection, it can make more sense to include the exposed areas from the beginning.
If the floor, side walls and wheel arches are planned together from the start, later fixed installations may not need to be removed simply because an additional protective cover still has to be fitted.

Wheel arch protection for the current Fiat Scudo generation
The Fiat Scudo III from 2022 onwards is designed as a modern work and service van for a wide range of applications. Regardless of vehicle length, the two projecting wheel arches remain exposed areas inside the cargo compartment.
The two 3 mm HDPE/ABS plastic covers provide additional protection for both wheel arches and can be integrated into either a new or existing interior conversion.
Planning the wheel arch protection from the beginning can save unnecessary dismantling later – and means the new Scudo does not have to wait for its first scratches before the protection programme begins. 😉
