Fastening the airline rail
The Airline Rail Corner Profile Light is usually fastened with M5 countersunk screws. Since the profile is delivered undrilled, it can be drilled individually at the desired fastening points or alternatively glued.
The manufacturer recommends a screw spacing of 75 mm and the use of screws of strength class 10.9 in combination with washers and self-locking nuts. Where this is not possible for design reasons, rivet nuts or anchor nuts can be used.
Alternatively, this airline rail is also very well suited for adhesive mounting, e.g., with a structural adhesive such as Sikaflex® 554. This leaves the surface of the rail completely usable.
