Design & construction of the semi-circular airline rail
The semi-circular slim profile was specially developed for applications where a low installation height and a discreet appearance are required. The airline rail is made of high-quality aluminum and impresses with its optimal ratio of stability and low weight.
The airline rail, which is only 40 mm wide, is pre-drilled with an M5 countersunk hole every 100 mm. This allows for uniform, secure fastening without the need for additional drilling. The countersunk holes ensure that the screw heads sit flush with the profile and do not interfere with the use of end fittings or fittings.
Neat finish with matching end caps
Black end caps are available as an option for a clean and functional finish. These neatly close off the open profile ends, reduce the risk of injury, and ensure a professional overall appearance—especially when installed in a visible location in the interior. Installation instructions & fastening
The Slim airline rail is usually fastened with M5 countersunk screws. According to the manufacturer's specifications, screws of strength class 10.9 should be used in conjunction with washers and self-locking nuts. Alternatively, rivet nuts or anchor nuts are often used in vehicle construction.
Protruding screw heads or rivet heads are not recommended, as these can interfere with the insertion of end fittings or the pushing through of slotted nuts. It is also possible to glue the rail in place, provided that the substrate is suitable for this.
Note: The respective installer is responsible for correct installation and the resulting load-bearing capacity.
