EU Directive 2014/47

On April 3, 2014, the new EU road safety package was adopted by the European Parliament.
Among other things, it regulates the EU Directive 2014/47/EU for roadside inspections of commercial vehicles in more detail.

Particular attention is paid to load securing and the technical condition of the vehicle.

Light commercial vehicles such as vans (panel vans/box vans) with a gross vehicle weight of less than 3.5 tons will be subject to more stringent checks in future.
