From 01.07.2014 up to and including 31.08.2014, trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 7.5 t or more and trucks with trailers are NOT allowed to drive on some highways and federal roads on all Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The driving ban for HGVs during the vacation travel period is regulated in Germany in the Holiday Travel Ordinance.
