A high-quality cargo compartment cover is the perfect solution to permanently protect the interior of your van. Whether you're a tradesman, delivery service or campervan - anyone who uses their vehicle on a daily basis knows the problem: scratches, dents and signs of wear and tear appear faster than you'd like. With our precisely CNC-milled load compartment linings, you can effectively protect not only your vehicle but also your cargo from damage - while keeping the weight low and the look attractive.
Why load compartment cladding makes sense
In everyday commercial life, a van has to withstand a lot. Boxes, tools or materials are loaded and unloaded - often several times a day. This inevitably results in minor collisions with the interior walls. Without protection, unsightly dents, dents or scratches quickly appear in the sheet metal, which not only look annoying, but can also cause corrosion and loss of value in the long term.
A cargo compartment lining protects these sensitive surfaces. It forms a robust separating layer between the vehicle body and the transported goods. In addition, it has a sound-absorbing effect and thus ensures a more pleasant working environment - particularly important if the van is used daily or tools remain in the vehicle.
Five different versions for every application
Our CNC-milled load compartment linings are available in five versions, so that the right solution is available for every application. You have the choice between:
- 4 mm plastic honeycomb profile
- 4 mm multiplex birch plywood (uncoated or gray coated)
- 6.5 mm multiplex birch plywood (uncoated or gray coated)
This means we offer the optimum variant for transport companies, tradesmen, delivery services and food transporters alike. Whether weight saving, moisture protection or additional stability - every version has its advantages.
Cargo compartment cladding made from plastic honeycomb profile (4 mm)
The load compartment trim made of 4 mm thick plastic honeycomb profile is particularly popular when weight and ease of maintenance are important. The material is extremely light, yet stable and resistant to water and many chemicals.
With a weight of only around 1.5 kg/m², it is a real lightweight. At the same time, it is flexible enough to absorb smaller impacts and blows without being damaged. As a result, the vehicle body remains reliably protected.
Compared to wooden cladding, the plastic version is around 50% lighter. In the example of a Mercedes Sprinter L4H2, this can mean a weight saving of around 23 kg compared to the 4 mm plywood cladding – or even 38 kg compared to the 6.5 mm version. This is a decisive advantage, especially for vehicles that operate close to their permissible payload.
In addition, the plastic honeycomb profile is easy to clean - ideal for industries where hygiene and cleanliness are important, such as food and medicine transportation.
Load compartment cladding made from multiplex plywood (4 mm and 6.5 mm)
The multiplex plywood cladding is the classic option for tradespeople and service providers who value stability and sound insulation. They are made of high-quality birch plywood and are optionally available uncoated or with a grey, moisture-resistant PP coating.
The 4 mm version convinces with a weight of 2.7 kg/m² – stable, but still easy to handle. The 6.5 mm version weighs 4.4 kg/m² and offers even greater impact resistance. Both versions offer excellent soundproofing properties, which is particularly noticeable on longer journeys or in city traffic.
Thanks to the stable structure, the wooden cladding is also ideal for attaching hooks, brackets or shelving systems. This turns the van into a mobile workshop or a perfectly organized delivery vehicle in no time at all.

Fitting the load compartment trim – simply and safely
Our load compartment linings are supplied including a suitable installation kit. In over 90% of cases, self-tapping screws are included in the scope of delivery, with which the panels can be securely fastened to the sides of the vehicle. This type of fastening ensures a firm connection, especially with wooden cladding - rattle-free installation included.
The installation itself is uncomplicated. Thanks to the precise CNC milling, the elements fit exactly into the existing contours of the vehicle. This means that even experienced hobby mechanics can carry out the installation without any problems. If you wish, you can also attach drum material between the trim panels – this significantly improves the acoustics and insulation even further.
Load compartment trim for leased vehicles – protection with added value
Load compartment cladding is also a worthwhile investment for leased vehicles. It protects the vehicle body from damage caused by cargo or tools and helps to avoid expensive additional payments at the end of the leasing period. A well-maintained interior also looks professional - an advantage that should not be underestimated in day-to-day customer contact.
To ensure that the installation has no impact on the leasing contract, we recommend a brief consultation with the lessor. In most cases, however, a load compartment trim is not a problem - on the contrary: it contributes to the value stability of the vehicle.
