The rail is pre-drilled with M5 countersunk holes at 100 mm intervals. This makes installation much easier and ensures even load distribution over the entire length. The countersunk holes allow for almost flush screw connections, making it easy to insert and move fittings and T-nuts.
Matching black end caps are available as an option for a clean finish. These protect the cut edges, improve the appearance, and reduce the risk of injury.

The Slim airline rail is designed for securing light to medium-weight loads. It is ideal for furniture, toolboxes, camping equipment, or use in the rear garage of motorhomes. This rail is not intended for applications involving very high tensile forces, such as transporting motorcycles or heavy pallets.

Fastening the airline rail
Fastening is usually carried out using M5 countersunk screws. The manufacturer recommends screws of strength class 10.9 in combination with washers and self-locking nuts.
Since it is not always possible to use nuts in vehicle construction, rivet nuts or threaded anchor nuts are often used. Protruding screw heads or rivets are not recommended, as they can interfere with the insertion of fittings and the pushing through of slotted nuts.
Alternatively, the rail can be additionally or exclusively bonded. The responsibility for proper installation and the resulting load capacity lies with the respective processor of the load securing systems.
