Stable airline rail with trapezoidal profile and flat surface

The airline rail with rounded sides and a flat surface is a mixture of semicircular and corner profiles.
The delta airline rail or trapezoidal airline rail is particularly suitable for securing objects on the outside of the vehicle or in the load compartment or in the rear garage of motorhomes.
Objects such as: solar modules, canister holders, sand plates or storage boxes can be attached to the airline rail.
In the cargo area or in the rear garage, furniture can be placed flat and screwed on with screw fittings or sliding blocks.
A higher tensile strength is achieved and rattling noises are significantly reduced.

The properties of the airline rail with trapezoidal profile

The semi-circular profile has no interfering edges, but offers no possibility of attaching anything flat.
The square profile offers a flat surface for attaching objects
. This is why the mixture of these two airline rails offers a perfect synergy.

The airline rail is available in lengths of 0.5m, 0.75m, 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 3.0 meters.
This rail is also available in black in lengths of 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m and 3.0m.
We offer the airline rail in the color RAL 9005/matt. The surface is powder-coated.

Other advantages compared to conventional airline rails

The thick base of the trapezoidal airline rail not only promotes maximum stability when countersinking screws, but also offers the option of cutting threads into the rail base.
Furthermore, the strong rail base with a height of 6.2 mm also accommodates countersunk screws of size M8 and even M10.
This is not possible with any other Airlin rail without countersinking the base.
The load capacity is higher than with conventional half-round profiles thanks to the generous dimensions.

The airline rail is supplied undrilled and is therefore also suitable for gluing.
There are two 11 mm wide adhesive grooves on the underside of the airline rail for gluing the airline rail in place.
The grooves can absorb the excess adhesive. We recommend Sikaflex 554.

End cap for airline rail with trapezoidal profile

We will supply an end cap with a groove opening soon. This will also allow slot nuts to be inserted and removed when the end cap is fitted.
In addition, water and dirt can run off the rail
