Welded aluminum roof racks for heavy loads
Unlike conventional roof racks, our welded models are delivered almost completely pre-assembled. The side panels, cross struts, and integrated walkway are firmly welded together. Only the center connection is bolted on larger models. This creates a highly stable base that proves itself even under continuous loads from heavy materials, machines, or long transport goods. Smaller vehicles without a walkway are equipped with a roof basket made from a single piece, which makes installation even easier.
Comfort and safety as standard
Every welded roof rack is equipped with an aerodynamic front spoiler ex works. This significantly reduces wind noise and improves driving characteristics, especially on highways. At the rear, there is a loading roller that makes loading and unloading pipes, ladders, or boards much easier while also protecting the vehicle body. A special innovation is the integrated, extendable rear ladder: it slides under the walkway to save space, can bear loads of up to 150 kg, and enables safe access – without having to be mounted on the tailgate. This makes it particularly interesting for leased vehicles or service vehicles.
Flexible applications and accessories
In addition to the extendable ladder, we also offer clampable aluminum rear door ladders that weigh a maximum of 7–8 kg and can be quickly attached and removed. This is a very practical solution, especially for service vehicles with extensive vehicle equipment. Thanks to the robust aluminum, the welded roof racks are weather-resistant and rust-free. The low weight also ensures that the payload of your vehicle is hardly affected. The scope of delivery includes mounting materials and detailed assembly instructions, so that even less experienced users can easily install the rack.
Observe roof load and manufacturer's specifications
Since 2010, vehicle manufacturers have been required to specify the maximum roof load for their models. As a rule of thumb, approximately 10% of the maximum payload or the roof load specified in the vehicle registration document may be used. Therefore, always observe the manufacturer's specifications before loading your welded roof rack. Our models are deliberately not manufactured as "low-budget" versions, but focus on the highest quality, long service life, and maximum safety.

Frequently asked questions about welded roof racks
Would you like to learn more about our high-quality aluminum roof racks? In the following FAQ, we answer the most important questions about advantages, accessories, walkways, scope of delivery, installation, and compatibility—compact and clear.
What are the advantages of welded roof racks and how do I maintain them?
Welded roof racks consist of a solid aluminum construction without screw connections. This makes them extremely stable, durable, and low-maintenance. Aluminum is rust-free and weather-resistant – regular cleaning with water or a mild detergent is sufficient for maintenance.
What is the integrated walkway for and how is the extendable rear ladder attached?
The walkway facilitates assembly work on the vehicle roof and provides a secure footing – ideal for service and trades vehicles. The extendable rear ladder is stored under the walkway to save space, does not need to be mounted on the rear door (perfect for leased vehicles), and can bear loads of up to 150 kg.
Is the front spoiler included and what is its purpose?
Yes. The front spoiler is included as standard. It reduces wind noise, improves aerodynamics, and ensures greater driving comfort, especially when driving regularly on the highway.
What types of mounting are possible?
Installation is usually carried out using the fixed points in the vehicle roof. Some vans – such as the Mercedes Sprinter – can also be equipped with a C-rail, which is also compatible. Can I convert the roof rack to another vehicle at a later date?
Can I convert the roof rack to another vehicle later?
Yes. Thanks to their flexible design, welded roof racks can often be mounted on other compatible vehicle models. This means that your investment is retained even if you change vehicles.
