The Nissan Townstar has been in production since early 2022 and is the successor to the popular NV200. It rolls off the production line at Renault's Maubeuge plant in France and shares its technical basis with the Renault Kangoo III and Mercedes Citan II (W420). The Townstar is available as a gasoline-powered model or a fully electric version, the Townstar EV, both with front-wheel drive and in one body length. The station wagon version offers up to seven seats, making it popular as a family or shuttle vehicle.
