The new VW T7 Multivan – technology and design
Since its market launch in 2022, the VW T7 has impressed with a completely new concept. The modular MQB Evo platform enables the use of modern hybrid drives and numerous assistance systems. At the same time, the interior space has been further optimized – with a sliding seat system, flat floor, and variable seat configurations.
Unlike the T6.1, the T7 Multivan is no longer offered as a classic panel van, but as a comfort-oriented van with a focus on passenger transport. However, it still offers plenty of storage space, flexible use, and numerous equipment options for businesses and families.

History: From the Bulli to the Multivan T7
The VW T7 Multivan continues a transporter tradition that goes back over 70 years. While the T6.1 was still based on the Crafter commercial vehicle platform, the T7 is the first Bulli with passenger car technology. This means it offers greater safety, driving comfort, and efficiency – but remains clearly anchored in the Bulli family in terms of appearance. At the same time, the new T7 Transporter (from 2025) will take over the commercial sector as the successor to the T6.1.
