❓ Frequently asked questions about roof panels for vans

Here we answer the most important questions about our headliners and roof panels for vans, panel vans, and motorhomes—from material selection to installation.

What material are the roof linings made of?

Our roof linings are available in either 4 mm plastic honeycomb profile or 4 mm plywood. The plywood version is also available uncoated or with a gray coating. The gray polypropylene film reliably protects the wood from moisture – ideal for commercially used vans.

Are the headliners also suitable for motorhomes?

Yes, the uncoated plywood panels in particular are ideal for motorhome conversions. They can be easily covered with felt, fabric, or imitation leather to achieve a cozy interior look and additional thermal insulation.

How is the roof lining installed?

Installation is easy: our roof linings are CNC-milled specifically for each vehicle and can be fitted with a perfect fit. The installation materials are included, and depending on the vehicle type, the delivery consists of one or more parts. A drilling template is usually not required.

Does roof paneling really reduce driving noise?

Yes – the roof paneling acts as additional insulation in the vehicle. Especially in panel vans with large cargo areas, it significantly reduces the noise level by minimizing vibrations and sound transmission through the roof.

Can I install the roof paneling myself?

Yes, installation can be easily carried out on your own. Thanks to the exact fit and the included mounting kit, no special tools are required. For larger roof areas, it is recommended that two people install the elements.
