Mercedes Citan I (W415) – Production period 2012 to 2021

The Mercedes Citan I (W415 series) was produced between 2012 and 2021 and is technically based on the Renault Kangoo II. It was available in three length variants: compact, long, and extra-long. In addition to the classic panel van for goods transport, there was the Mixto (with additional rear seat) and the station wagon with up to seven seats. The model was manufactured at the Maubeuge plant in France and is known for its fuel efficiency and high everyday practicality.

Mercedes Citan II (W420) – from 2021

The second generation, the Mercedes Citan II (W420), was introduced in 2021 and is based on the Renault Kangoo III. The new Citan offers a modern design, higher safety standards, and state-of-the-art engine technology – including a fully electric version, the Citan eVan. It is available with both wing doors and a tailgate and comes in two lengths (L1 and L2). Production also takes place at the Maubeuge plant. Important: The cargo space differs between the van and the station wagon – accessories such as vehicle floors or trim must therefore be selected specifically for each vehicle.
